Classification of Release Agent
Solvent-based release agent
A release agent based on organic solvents, commonly used in metal die-casting and rubber molding. It is volatile and can quickly form a uniform release film after coating.
Semi-permanent release agent
This release agent can form a durable coating on the mold surface, can be used multiple times without frequent coating, is suitable for mass production, and improves production efficiency.
Non-silicone release agent
Developed for some products that require subsequent processing (such as spraying, bonding, etc.) to avoid affecting subsequent processes due to silicon residues.
Silicone-based release agent
A release agent containing silicone oil or silicone resin has excellent thermal stability and lubricity, and is widely used in the molding process of plastics and rubber products.
Water-based release agent
With water as the main solvent, it is a representative of environmentally friendly release agents. Water-based release agents are low-volatile, non-toxic, and non-flammable, suitable for production environments with high environmental and safety requirements.
Main Functions
Reduce adhesion
Form an isolation film between the mold and the product, significantly reduce adhesion, and make the product easily separated from the mold.
